We just returned to our Florida home from Ohio that Amy helped us purchase in 2016. We were looking to sell our Riverfront District condo and purchase a home in the Estero area. After extensive research Amy's name kept popping up. As I embarked on selling my first home, I did extensive research online trying to find the best Real Estate Agent I could, which led me to Amy Ivey and Swept Away Realty. She certainly lived up to the hype. Her valuation of my home was directly on point as it appraised for that value during the sale process. Prior to listing, she came by my house and offered tips and tricks for presenting the house, and, within 24 hours of listing, we received an above offer price. Ultimately, through no fault of mine or Amy's, the sale fell through, but Amy fought for me to receive the escrow amount, and we were able to recover the full escrow amount to help hold me over until the house was sold. We immediately re-listed the house, and within a weekend we had another offer for full sale price. Thankfully, this second buyer's finances came through and in such a quick turn around that closing occurred in less than a month. Amy's experience and wisdom in the local real estate market is impressive, and she constantly gave me the best advise and assuaged any concerns I had. When I first contacted Amy to help me purchase a home in Fort Myers (I was in Michigan during this time), she was out of town on a family emergency. In spite of that, she got back to me and followed up on my requests. In 2014, I've had two separate experiences with Amy Ivey and Swept Away Realty. The first one was in May 2014 and Amy helped be find/purchase a home. From the start, Amy's knowledge of the area was helpful in choosing perspective homes to look at. Once we found a home we loved, she pulled comps and historical purchase information on the home and used this information to advise us on an appropriate offer. I was impressed by her negotiation techniques which assisted us to get the house we loved at a reasonable price. We had 30 days to close and although the mortgage/closing process can be stressful, Amy and her team at Swept Away Realty was there every step of the way answering questions I had and explaining the paperwork/process. The part that I was most appreciative of, was that she understood the tight timeline and helped me move the mortgage company along so that we could close on time (we could have actually closed early). I would highly recommend Amy!!!!
My second experience was in Sept 2014 when I decided to sell another property. After such a great experience with Amy and her team at Swept Away Realty it was an absolute no-brainer that Amy Ivey was going to be my agent to sell this property.
Amy walked us through the process and gave us advice about items to fix at the property which would make it show better. Once listed, the property was only on the market a week before getting an over full price offer .....which fell through due to the fact that the buyers "furniture wouldn't fit". I was feeling pretty bummed however Amy reassured me that she felt good about things and "she had pokers in the fire". She told me not to worry!! Two days later the house had a cash offer and we closed on the house in 2-3 weeks.

Sold a Single Family home in 2014 for approximately $225K in Cape Coral, FL.
Amy was just amazing from start to finish and continues to keep in touch with us. We chose her to sell our home because we were relocating to another state and needed someone with high volume and a large network. She came over before taking pics to recommend additional areas to clean/fix. On pic day she spent so much time making the pics perfect and got the property listed that night. We ended up having 14 showings in less than 3 weeks because of the great listing she put together. She has a showing service as well that calls to coordinate every showing, which allowed us to get a great deal of traffic through the house according to our schedule. We were trying to move quickly and had one offer early on. The buyer was an out of state investor and she provided pros and cons on the offer that really helped. We followed her advise and countered accordingly. The buyer wanted a long inspection period that would have put our property in pending status for too long so we did not pursue because she was confident other offers would come once the property got more market exposure. Good thing we followed her advice because a cash offer came through the next week! In total, our house was listed, sold, and closed in 3 weeks.
I'm very persistent and Amy was available and responded quickly at all times of the entire process. She worked so hard to ensure we got what we wanted out of the sale. Since we moved out of state the day before the buyer's closed she even went to our house before their final walk through to do some additional cleaning.
Amy busted her butt to help us and completely went above and beyond in every way. She worked for us to ensure a successful sale and still keeps in touch. She is 110% passionate about her job and it showed in every step of the way. We wouldn't hesitate to work with her again in the future. Definitely recommended!

Amy is amazing! I had the experience of handling a complicated estate with 12 properties in Florida in,shall we say, a "tough market". I was beside myself. I had tried working with another broker with no result. Then I found Amy. Amy sold 6 of them within a matter of a few weeks. Some of them she advised me to hold and sell later so I felt that she really had the best interest of the estate in mind. Amy was able to handle all the other properties in a very timely manner. The property Amy sold for me is located in South West Florida,where the market is deeply depressed.
I began by listing my home as a FSBO, putting ads in the local paper, and holding open houses, all long term and outdated ways of attempting to sell. After months of little activity,I went on the Internet and found AMY!!! What a relief. She visited with me promptly, explained my Home was overvalued,and that Open Houses were for Browsers, not sophisticated Buyers.

Several years ago, I met Amy through the internet. When I talked to her in person, regarding my home and some real estate questions, never did I feel pressured, but her professionalism impressed me. I saved all her emails, becasue I found them informative.

Amy, I could not stand house buying anymore! My boyfriend and I were about to give up once again looking for a house. We had been looking for at least 5 to 6 months. It seemed that every time we started looking everybody said "no problem we can get you into the house for the price you want"!!!! Well, that NEVER happened. In the end it always seemed to go up more than what we wanted. We were about to give up and saw a house with Amy's sign on it.
